I do! I love going to stores that have plants, I love buying plants, I love looking at them and touching them! I literally can not stop myself from buying them. In the summer, I love planting in all of my different planters and containers. I love shopping around for vintage items to plant in. It is so fun coming up with different ways and things to plant in. One place that I found has great plants for very affordable prices is Trader Joes! You can find all kinds of different plants there. Not too long ago, I purchased an Olive Tree.. not sure if its going to make it but I am sure giving it a go. The other thing Trader Joe’s has is amazing cut flowers! They’re a great price and you can get a variety of different kinds and make amazing bouquets.

I put my kids in charge of our houseplants from the time they were itty bitty bc if it’s green, I’ll find a way to kill it- NOT on purpose!! Now that they’re grown and gone, I’m in charge so I need help… do you have any tips on how to keep a peace lily from turning yellow?

Thanks for your comments! I’ve done a little online research on peace lily’s to help you out. Water is a primary influence for maintaining the peace lily’s health. Excessively dry soil causes plants to wilt and leaves to turn yellow. Poorly draining soil or excessive watering can cause roots to become waterlogged, which causes yellow leaves. Peace Lily’s prefer to have medium, indirect sunlight and will develop yellow leaves if it is getting too much or too little light.. Brown spots or streaks will also form if direct sun is hitting the plant.
